Results Round Up

Leaders Dragon maintain their top spot in the Copyshop Premier Pairs league, following a hard-fought draw against second-place Simple Minds. In a closely contested match, Early Birds moved closer to the leaders, taking 4 points from their encounter with KCS Sunshine Band, while Stand & Deliver had a tough day, managing just 1 point after drawing the doubles match with The Wolves, who won both the triples and singles. Crown Greeners remain in second, having wins in the triples and singles against Saltire.  Elsewhere, Dave’s Pride leapfrog Dragons on chalk difference as both teams now sit on 18 points, after Dave’s Pride overcame the challenge of Dragons. Villans were in imperious form, taking all points in their match, including a huge 47-chalk haul, further consolidating their position in the league.

The Triples League saw Optimists extend their lead to 3 points after winning over IBS. A tight contest at the top sees three teams now tied on 16 points, with Bowlistics moving into third place after their win over Ever Hopefuls, while Castletown Crofters slipped to fourth despite a 2-set victory over GGs, who now sit second.

In the Friday Pairs League, CC & Me remain clear at the top, maintaining a 4-point advantage after a comfortable 2-set win. KT Sunshine Band remain in second place, also taking both sets from Emanden UTD. Weather Girls climbed to fourth after a 2-set win over Top Dogs, while Maxums and Crown Greeners shared the spoils in a drawn match.
