It’s been an exciting few days across all divisions, with thrilling matches, close draws, and leadership shifts that promise an exciting season ahead. Here’s how things unfolded in the Copyshop sponsored League. In the Monday Pairs Statler & Waldorf held first placed Dragons to a draw in a hard-fought match. Villa Boys delivered a strong performance, taking both sets against second placed Simple Minds, Douglas Old Boys celebrated their first win of the season Villans.
Villans, at the top of the Tuesday Team League table, extended their lead with a clean sweep of sets against Castletown Crofters. Ramsey Raiders held onto second spot after starting well in the triples against Early Birds, stumbling in the singles but rallying to win the doubles.
Castletown Crofters climbed to the top of the First Division Pairs table with a 2-set win over Enigma. CC & Me move into second after a two-set win over GGs. Atlas also continued their strong run, beating the early leaders 1-in-4, taking both sets.
Crown Greeners now sit at the top of the Wednesday Team League after securing a draw with Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest. Simple Minds trail them by just one point. Dave’s Pride and Dragons remain tightly matched in 3rd and 4th respectively, with chalk difference keeping Dave’s Pride ahead after their matches.
In the Triples League Optimists remain at the top, but only by one point after a draw with Castletown Crofters. GGs closed the gap by claiming a win against Gutter Gang. Bowlistics drop to third after drawing against IBS, despite their recent strong win.
KT Sunshine Band are now level at the top of the Friday Pairs league on chalk difference as long-time leaders CC & Me couldn’t secure a point from their match against Top Dogs. Weather Girls close the gap after gaining 3 points against Crown Greeners.
In the Premier Singles League Stuart Garret is top of the table with Andy Dixon second only chalk difference separates the two.

It’s been confirmed that Trevor Quayle and Caroline Whitehead will represent the Isle of Man at the 2026 World Bowls Indoor Championship in Australia! After an intense first set that ended in a draw, Trevor secured his place with a strong second set performance, finishing 9-3 over Dave McCabe.
